Hard to tell exactly what went wrong here. According to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , this happened during the construction of a subway station in Caracas, Venezuela, and that the piece being lowered weighed 60 tons. Two reported injured.

60 tons of steel being set by 2x 30ton cranes. When the left one got beyond his limit he lost it, causing the other to go beyond his limit and lose it as well.

The lesson learned here is to always have more machine than needed for these types of operations.

That's pretty scary but the crane on the right should have dumped it when it pulled the left one over.
